The Outstanding State Chapter Award has been the highest award given by ITS America to an ITS America State Chapter for the development of superb programming and fostering the highest qualities of leadership within the membership. Beginning in 2008, three additional awardees are selected in categories that underscore their effectiveness and impact in furthering ITS networking, outreach, and advocacy; organizational and professional development, and successful ITS deployments or practices.
