Radha Neelakantan comes to ITS America from the World Resources Institute, an environmental think tank in Washington DC, where her work focused on sustainable transportation and its impacts on climate change and public health. Her other areas of expertise include renewable energy, water policy and climate change adaptation.

Prior to entering the sustainable development field, Radha was a software engineer in Silicon Valley for five years, developing applications for using messaging technologies on smartphones. Radha holds a masters degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, and has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. She was a Fulbright Scholar in 2002-2003 researching the sociology of immigration in Berlin, Germany.
