We are delighted to invite you to join us at the ITS America 2012 Annual Meeting and Exposition, May 21-23, at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland — just outside of Washington, D.C.
On the heels of the 18th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Orlando, FL, which showcased ITS in action and featured the foremost thought leaders in in the industry, ITS America’s 22nd Annual Meeting program will focus on affordable strategies to create smart cities and communities that are safer, cleaner, more livable and less congested.
With the Annual Meeting so close to Washington, D.C., we have a wonderful opportunity to bring the case for ITS directly to legislators on the federal, state and local levels. We want to capitalize on the momentum generated in Orlando by continuing the conversation with national lawmakers and policy leaders about how transportation technology is an affordable solution that can be implemented now.
The meeting theme, “Smart Transportation: A Future We Can Afford,” will focus on how ITS offers affordable solutions to the world’s transporation challenges. In a time when organizations are asked to do more with less, transporation technology provides innovation that can opitmize and maximize transporation dollars while improving efficiency, safety and the environment.
