ITS America hosts and participates in a wide range of events throughout the year. Chief among them is the association's Annual Meeting & Exposition and the World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems.

The continuing goal of the Annual Meeting and World Congress on ITS is to promote awareness and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems technologies.  These technologies enable people to make transportation choices that save lives, time and money, and sustain the environment.  With a focus on practical deployment, as well as education and innovation, each conference enhances our ability to work together to provide the world's transportation system users new levels of safety, reliability, convenience, accessibility and choice. 

Transportation, technology and business professionals involved with any aspect of Intelligent Transportation Systems, from development and management through delivery, implementation, and operation, should make plans to attend these events.  Members of other stakeholder groups such as financial analysts, communications professionals, automotive engineers, commercial vehicle operators, and transportation security and public safety authorities will discover where the future of transportation is headed, how ITS will affect their sectors, and how they can become engaged in the evolution of ITS.
