Equipment and Service Liability and Risk Management for future Vehicle Crash Avoidance Systems - Case Studies and General Considerations
Presenter(s): Deanne M. Ottaviano, Partner, Arentfox, www.arentfox.com/practices/automotive/
This webinar will look at tort issues such as liability, negligence, and implied warranty and how they may impact the commercialization of vehicle crash avoidance systems (e.g. forward crash warning, or intersection collision warning utilizing radars, GPS and dedicated short range communication) that rely on either equipment/operator interaction, but include vehicle-to-other vehicle or vehicle-to-infrastructure interaction. General considerations such as state and federal statutes, case law or insurance claims will be examined in the context of not just automotive systems, but broadly into a number of different technologies areas.
Date: TBD
