Carlos Alban joined ITS America in January 2012 as a Transportation Program Coordinator. In his role, Carlos works on a variety of projects, such as organizing meetings for the Connected Vehicle Workshop task and providing support in International Standards development as the assistant International Secretary and assistant US TAG Administrator for ISO/TC204 - Intelligent Transport Systems. He also currently manages the State Chapter - Professional Capacity Building task, brining training’s from ITS JPO’s PCB program to various state chapters across the country.
Prior to joining ITS America, Carlos managed and operated the surgery department in a large medical practice in Washington DC, focusing on everything from marketing, human resources, and customer service standards. In addition, he was responsible for the planning of national and local meetings, as well as semiannual conferences.
