WASHINGTON, DC, June 25, 2008 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) is pleased to release a new strategic plan that outlines the strategic aims and outcomes that will enable ITS America to fulfill the responsibilities set forth in its mission, vision, and guiding principles.
ITS America will pursue four overarching strategic goals:
- Optimize Member Value
- Serve as the Chief Advocate for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Serve as a Thought Leader in Transportation Policy
- Improve the Efficiency and Effectiveness of ITS America Governance and Operations
