ITS America Opens Up Additional Exhibit Space for 15th World Congress on Intelligent Transport System
Response from Industry Requires Exhibit Space Increase for a Record Seventh Time
WASHINGTON, DC, July 10, 2008 - Due to overwhelming demand,
the exhibit space for the 15 th World Congress on ITS,
November 16-20, has been expanded for a seventh time. After selling
out the original 100,000 square feet of reserved space at the Jacob
K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, the World Congress on
ITS exhibition now tops 300,000 square feet of space.
Over 200 exhibitors from around the world have already
reserved exhibit space for the exposition - the largest number ever
for a U.S.-hosted World Congress on ITS - prior to this week's
expansion.
Scott Belcher, ITS America President and CEO, said, "We have
been overwhelmed with requests for exhibit space, and have
responded by adding an additional hall. We anticipate that this
year's World Congress will be the largest in terms of exposition
space reserved and anticipated attendance."
