World Congress on ITS Press Conference a Huge Success
WASHINGTON, DC, October 30, 2008 - ITS America held a press
conference last week in New York City to brief the New York media
and other news organizations on the upcoming 15 th World
Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems.
An overview of the event was provided by ITS American
President and CEO Scott Belcher who was joined by guest speakers
Paul Brubaker, Administrator, Research and Innovative Technology
Administration; Stanley Gee, Executive Deputy Commissioner, New
York State Department of Transportation; Janette Sadik-Khan,
Commissioner, New York City Department of Transportation; and World
Congress Chairman Michael Noblett.
The press conference featured displays from American Traffic
