WASHINGTON, DC , December 18, 2008 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) announces Lori H. Vintilescu as its new director of partnerships and business development. Vintilescu will develop and maintain strategic partnerships for ITS America within the transportation industry. She will also create new services that focus on networking and business development opportunities for the association's members.

"She is a results-oriented professional who brings tremendous experience, customer focus, and proven skills to our organization."

Prior to joining ITS America, Vintilescu spent six years at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman where she was responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with key partners in various industries, identifying and pursuing business development opportunities outside the firm, and increasing client service opportunities within the firm.

Vintilescu earned a bachelor's degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
