WASHINGTON, March 17, 2009 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) is seeking expert members to serve as volunteer judges for the 2009 Best of ITS Awards. The awards will be presented during the ITS America 2009 Annual Meeting and Exposition at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on June 1, 2009.

The awards program's history includes a distinguished roster of transportation industry experts and leaders. This year, we are extending the opportunity for involvement to ITS America members who have not previously served as judges. (Please note that you cannot serve as a judge for a category in which your organization has submitted an entry.) ITS America will present awards in the following categories: Best New Innovative Product, Service, or Application and Best New Innovative Practice.
