WASHINGTON, DC, April 15, 2009 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) announced today the departure of Director of Transportation Information Programs, Heather Young. Young has assumed the role of project manager in the regulatory division the U.S. Coast Guard's regulatory division.

Upon joining ITS America in 2005, Young served as lead staff support for the society's Commercial Vehicles & Freight Mobility Forum and Transportation Information Forum. She also provided support to ITS America's contract with the U.S. Department of Transportation.
