Room Block Cut-Off Date Approaching for "Use of ITS in Airport Environments" Conference
WASHINGTON, DC, July 13, 2009 - The Intelligent Transportation
Society of America (ITS America) and the American Association of
Airport Executives (AAAE) will bring the Second Annual Conference
on the Use of Intelligent Transportation Systems in Airport
Environments, August 3-5, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. A special
room rate of $179/night is available at the City Center Marriott

The preliminary agenda for "Use of ITS in Airport
Environments" includes a keynote address by ITS America Board
Chair, Michael Huerta, president, MPH Consulting, who will speak on
"Transportation Challenges Presented by the 2002 Winter Olympics in
Salt Lake City, Utah." Four working sessions on August 4 will be
followed by a welcome reception meet and greet and the ever-popular
Airport Managers Roundtable the next day. The Roundtable will be on
August 5 and followed by a technical tour of ITS options
implemented at the Utah Department of Transportation Management
Center.
