WASHINGTON, DC, July 17, 2009 - Carnegie Mellon University, a global research university recognized for its world-class technology programs, is the newest organization to join the Intelligent Transportation Society of America.

Carnegie Mellon University is now part of an association that represents more than 400 member organizations including public agencies, private corporations, and academic institutions involved in the research, development, and deployment of technologies that improve safety, increase mobility, and sustain the environment.
