Intelligent Transportation Society of America Announces Call for Entries for State Chapter Awards
WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 - The Intelligent Transportation Society
of America (ITS America) today announced a call for entries for the
"2010 Outstanding State Chapter Award," presented to an ITS America
State Chapter for the development of superb programming and
fostering the highest qualities of leadership within the
membership.
In addition to the Outstanding State Chapter Award, ITS
America will select three additional awardees in categories that
demonstrate their effectiveness and impact in furthering ITS
networking, outreach, and advocacy; organizational and professional
development; and successful ITS deployments or practices.
The finalists will be recognized and the winners announced
during a special awards ceremony held from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on
Monday, May 3, 2010 during ITS America's 20th Annual Meeting &
Exposition at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston,
Texas.
