Registration Now Open for Smart Parking Symposium
WASHINGTON, DC – The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), in cooperation with NJ DOT launched an online registration for the Smart Parking Symposium, taking place on December 10, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, New Jersey. The event will foster the communication between the public and private sector and facilitate the implementation of Smart Parking technologies and the understanding of their potential impact on the community.
According to James S. Simpson, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, "New Jersey is proud to host the first regional Symposium conducted by ITS America and through our partnership with ITS America, we are building momentum to bring technology back to NJ."
This event will provide a one stop opportunity for public sector officials and private sector parking owner/operators from the around the region to learn from their peers who are implementing smart parking technology; technology providers who can provide new and innovative technology solutions; and, investors and financial institutions that are interested in smart parking solutions.
The ITS America Smart Parking Symposium will cover topics that include:
- Lessons learned in the trenches – thought provoking insight from local and regional public officials
- Keynote public sector response to growing demand and trends in smart parking
- Technology Overview from ITS America – independent review and analysis of trends and technologies.
- New and innovative parking solutions from the providers themselves
- Investing in the Smart Parking sector – how investors can provide capital and project finance to technology providers to help facilitate deployment.
- Introduction to ITS America's Study on the Market for Smart Parking Technologies - New Technology in Smart Parking Generating Value for Facilities, Customers and the General Public
