ITS America Welcomes 17 New Members
Washington D.C. – The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) welcomed 17 companies and organizations from around the country as new members during the second quarter of 2012. ITS America is the nation’s leading advocate for the use of technology to address transportation challenges.
Recent new members include: American Council on Renewal Energy; ADDCO, LLC, An Imago Company; Bishop Consulting; Cadogan Consulting; Cellcontrol; DriveCam; ENTERPRISE Pooled Fund; EPV Group, LLC; Infrastructure Corporation of America; Mixon Hill, Inc.; Naztec; Novavia Solutions; Pemcco, Inc.; Raymond James; AMSchoka Consulting LLC; TrafficVision; and Treehaven Technologies.

The American Council on Renewal Energy (ACORE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to building a secure and prosperous America with clean, renewable energy. ACORE’s members represent a wide range of interests in the renewable energy community, focusing on technology, finance and policy.
ADDCO, LLC, an Imago Company, was founded in 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota and is one of the nation’s premier permanent dynamic message sign (DMS) and portable changeable message sign producers. ADDCO’s products are designed specifically for state of the art intelligent transportation systems and the company participates regularly in the development and adoption of national and international standards for DMS design and operation.
Bishop Consulting supports clients internationally in research and business development within the intelligent vehicles arena, focusing on partnership development, intelligent vehicle applications, industry trend analysis, and business strategy. The ENTERPRISE Program is a U.S. DOT Federal Highway Administration Pooled Fund Study with member agencies from North America and Europe. Its main purpose is to use the pooled resources of its private and public sector partners to develop, evaluate and deploy ITS. As part of its mission, ENTERPRISE seeks to facilitate the sharing of technological and institutional experiences gained from major ITS projects.
EPV Group, LLC is a software engineering and professional services company based in El Paso, Texas. EPV Group specializes in ITS planning and professional services, providing expert guidance as transportation agencies implement new technologies based on comprehensive ITS feasibility studies, needs assessments and concept of operations design. The company also assists with RFP development, vendor selection and project management.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Infrastructure Corporation of America (ICA) is the country’s leading provider of performance-based highway asset maintenance management services. Based in Texas and founded in 1978 as a manufacturing and design firm for advanced traffic control hardware and software, Naztec Solutions specializes in addressing traffic design issues and optimizing intersection and arterial control timing schemes. Naztec recently merged with partner company Trafficware, forming the preeminent technology-based company in the traffic management segment of the intelligent transportation (ITS) industry.
Novavia Solutions, LLC was founded in 2010 in Oakland, California as a management consulting firm aiming to create social value by promoting the use and development of intelligent transportation solutions. PEMCCO, Inc. is an information technology and management firm providing professional engineering and management services and executing projects in accordance with PMI best practices. AMSchoka Consulting LLC is a transportation technology consulting firm with expertise in applying open information technology standards for information interoperability. Based in the D.C. metro area, Schoka has provided technical and program management support in the definition, development, and review of ITS information technology standards and requirements, and serves as a prime contributor to numerous standards including those on Electronic Freight Management (EFM) in the U.S. and Europe as an active member of ISO TC204.
Founded in 1962 and a public company since 1983, Raymond James is a diversified financial services holding company with subsidiaries engaged primarily in investment and financial planning, in addition to investment banking and asset management. The firm also provides investment banking services for the logistics and transportation technology sectors.
TrafficVision has pioneered a new generation of traffic monitoring technology for Traffic Management Centers. The South Carolina company uses video-based data collection and incident detection solutions to set new standards in accuracy under the most non-intrusive installation and operation conditions available.
Treehaven Technologies manufactures a broad range of network-based IP video products and systems. The Ohio-based company also provides control room video management software, integrated network and joystick based camera control systems and video and control data transport equipment for clients such as the Delaware, Indiana and Ohio Departments of Transportation.
