The ITS America 22nd Annual Meeting & Exposition, “Smart Transportation: A Future We Can Afford” is a three-day event from May 21-23, 2012 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, just outside Washington, DC.   On the heels of the 18th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Orlando, Fl., which showcased ITS in action and featured the leading thought leaders in the industry, the Annual Meeting program will focus on affordable strategies to create smart cities and communities that are safer, cleaner, more livable and less congested.

The venue will host several special roundtables for investors and the media in addition to ancillary meetings held by such organizations as the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.  The exposition and networking events will be ideal for building business development networks and the conference program and technical tours will provide attendees with a fresh look at the emerging projects, products, and services that are changing surface transportation.

Early registration ends March 16. Discounted rates are available for members of ITS America, public sector employees, and first-time attendees.  For more information and to register, go to http://www.itsa.org/annualmeeting.
