U.S. DOT Awards $77 Million for University Research, Recipients Include 17 ITS America Members
U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Ray LaHood announced on Tuesday that $77 million in grants have been awarded to 22 University Transportation Centers (UTCs) to advance research and education programs that address critical transportation challenges facing the United States. The 22 UTCs selected are all consortia, involving a total of 121 different universities across the country, 17 of which are members of ITS America.
