20th ITS WORLD CONGRESS, TOKYO 2013 DEMONSTRATIONS CALL
The 2013WC Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that applications for demonstrations at the 20th ITS World Congress in Tokyo is open. The committee welcomes the proposals from overseas.
The 20th ITS world Congress Tokyo 2013 will feature a wide range of demonstration showcases in Tokyo area. The Congress will attract international attendees from industrial, government and academic sectors who share an interest in ITS, and we are confident that your presentation of various solutions will give them a real sense of the significance and role of next-generation ITS technologies.
Presenters are sought for 4 types of demonstrations described below. Demonstrations will be created and operated by presenters within the framework determined by the Japan Organizing Committee
Type 1: Public Road Drive (long Ride): Candidates on areas such Advanced traffic information such as:
ITS Green Safety (Next Generation cooperative Systems); Advanced Traffic information: Next generation VICS, Information delivery under disaster situation, Incorporated with cloud services, Supplement ITS spot services, Advanced Driving Support Systems.
Type 2: Outdoor Exhibition Area (short ride with slow speed): Candidates on areas such Automated driving, ADAS, Network under disaster
Type 3: Roof top exhibition area type (almost stationed): Candidates on areas such Parking assistance, HEMS, BEMS
Type 4: Indoor (ICT for personalized services): Candidates such Pedestrian navigation, IMES (indoor messaging systems)
