SHRP2 Program

SHRP2 Reliability Program has been developing a set of products to support the ability of practitioners to improve various aspects of their current Systems Operations and Management (SO&M) activities.  These include technical tools as well as guidance in processes and institutional arrangements.  Eighteen are available now, with the remainder becoming available over the next two years.

To provide practitioners with easy access to this material, the SHRP2 program has developed a “knowledge transfer system” website.  On the website, the SHRP2 products are presented in a searchable database that provides a synthesis of each and links to the actual documents.

In addition, there is other related material intended to be of use to practitioners, including:
•    Links to certain non-SHRP2 documents representing a selection of the state of the practice in several key areas
•    “Making the business case” materials designed to be used or adapted for promoting and understanding SO&M among various stakeholders
•    Calendar of news and events
•    FAQs about SO&M
•    Latest version of a glossary prepared by the TRB RTSMO committee

The website is currently in beta testing. SHRP2 would like  to get feedback from knowledgeable professionals with the intent of incorporating improvements for the final version of website over the next two months.
