Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Energy Conservation and Maintenance Conference A Success

WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) and the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) successfully co-hosted "Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Energy Conservation and Maintenance" in St. Louis, Missouri, Oct. 4-5. The meeting was co-chaired by Telvent President and ITS America's Environmental Task Force Chair, Larry Yermack.
Congressman Russ Carnahan, co-chair of the U.S. House of Representatives ITS Caucus; Pete Rahn, director of the Missouri Department of Transportation; and Dennis Archer, former mayor of Detroit and co-project chair of the National Transportation Policy Project, were just a few of the noteworthy speakers at this meeting. More than 130 attendees participated in dialogues as diverse as corporate social responsibility, climate change adaptation, and operational strategies, policies.
