FCC to Convene Staff Workshop Addressing Distracted Driving on November 20
WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 - On November 20, 2009, the Federal
Communications Commission will convene a staff workshop on
distracted driving that will explore technology innovations and
applications that may eliminate or significantly reduce the problem
of distracted driving as well as ways to educate the public about
such dangerous behavior. The workshop will be held at FCC
Headquarters and is open to the public. The agenda will be released
when final. Registration is not required.
This workshop will be held from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the
Federal Communications Commission, Commission Meeting Room, TW
level, 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington D.C. 20554. For more
