Registration Deadline Approaching for Border Wait Time Measurement Technology Test, Evaluation and Deployment Project - Vendor Information Session
WASHINGTON, Dec. 4, 2009 - The Border Wait Time Working Group
(BWT WG) is a group consisting of U.S. and Canadian Federal
agencies that share the common goal of facilitating the legitimate
flow of travelers and trade across Canada/U.S. land border
crossings. The BWT WG is hosting a two-hour "Vendor Information
Session" web conference on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 1 p.m.
(Eastern) to inform technology providers about an upcoming
opportunity to participate in a test of automated border wait time
measurement systems. Pre-registration is required, and advance
materials will be distributed to those who register before 5 PM
Eastern on December 10.
The purpose of this vendor information session is to ensure
that prospective applicants (bidders) are informed regarding
performance and testing requirements and evaluation protocols, and
to gather input and suggestions from applicants. Participation in
the web conference is not mandatory to respond to the upcoming
solicitation; however, it is highly recommended that interested
vendors take part, since important information will be provided
during the web conference and vendors will have the opportunity to
ask questions and offer input regarding the solicitation that will
follow.
To register, please email your name, company name, phone
number and email address to the event coordinator Kari Beasley at
