Wavetronix Opens New World Headquarters
Move to larger office space comes in response to
impressive international growth
For Immediate Release
Provo, UT - April 7, 2010 - Wavetronix LLC, the worldwide
market leader in radar traffic detection and monitoring, announces
it has moved its headquarters to the world renowned Novell campus
in Provo, Utah. Today, the company hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony
and open house to celebrate the move, which follows a year of what
the company calls "phenomenal international growth."
Wavetronix executive VP and COO Brian Hagen says the move gives the
company more room to grow, in a location that is conducive to
innovation. "We are excited to be part of a campus known for
technology and professionalism," Hagen says. "The increased space
will allow us to continue to expand and represents an important new
phase in our growth."
That growth is due, in part, to the global acceptance of
SmartSensor HD and an explosion of international deployments. Mike
Rose, vice president of sales at Wavetronix, says, "SmartSensor HD
has been extensively tested by respected transportation
organizations around the world, and is now recognized as a
formidable alternative to traditional detection."
As a result, Wavetronix now has active deployments in more than 40
countries, and its worldwide network of authorized distributors
continues to expand. To help manage this growth, Wavetronix
recently opened regional sales offices in London, France and
Singapore, in addition to existing offices in China and
Florida.
Wavetronix also used the event to demonstrate its newest product,
SmartSensor Matrix, the first radar traffic detector designed
specifically for intersection stop bar detection. Currently,
SmartSensor Matrix is being installed at intersections throughout
the United States, including Utah.
"We are a Utah company doing business in an international market,"
Hagen says. "It is exciting to know that our products are being
used as far away as China, and as close as Provo, to help improve
the safety and efficiency of roads and intersections."
