Delcan Corporation Wins Major Electric Toll and Traffic Management System
Project for the SH130 Concession Company

Austin, Texas, July 7, 2010 - Delcan Corporation, an award winning, multidisciplinary engineering, planning, management and technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce their most recent project win with the SH130 Concession Company (SH130CC). Delcan has been retained by SH130CC to provide a full Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) field infrastructure and fiber optic Network Communications System components for a new 40-mile toll road in Austin, Texas.

As part of this project, Delcan will deploy their Intelligent NETworks ATMS product to manage the toll network, as well as provide design and build services for the following components: Traffic Management Center (TMC) video wall system, new fault-tolerant Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic communications system and Electronic Traffic Management and Monitoring (ETTM) field components. Delcan will provide a web-based ATMS software platform for monitoring and reporting transportation system conditions through the TMC. In addition, Delcan will install a full complement of closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, microwave vehicle detection sensors, dynamic message signs and a road weather information system. The new toll road is
scheduled to open by June 2012.
