More than 130 Transit Agencies Nationwide Gather in Atlanta
for
RouteMatch Software's 2011 User Conference
Atlanta, GA - April 26, 2011 -
RouteMatch
Software, a fully US-based leading provider of intelligent
transportation systems (ITS) technologies, experienced its largest
attendance at its tenth-annual user conference held from April
18-21 in Atlanta, GA. The RouteMatch 2011 Annual User Conference
brought together more than 250 users of RouteMatch's solutions for
transit agencies, brokerages and private companies. The conference
provided RouteMatch users with an open and engaging forum to learn
new strategies and insights from RouteMatch experts, and network
with peers based on shared experiences. It also allowed RouteMatch
users to learn about upcoming product directions and new
technology.
RouteMatch particularly received high marks for its one-on-one
consulting sessions. RouteMatch users participated in more than 132
scheduled one-on-one sessions which allowed them to learn how to
troubleshoot using their own data and leverage their existing
RouteMatch technology. Users also took advantage of more than 30
group breakout sessions on topics such as reporting, scheduling,
change management, new features, mobile data, traveler information
services, and mobility management. General session presentations
were delivered by RouteMatch's senior management as well as
representatives of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the
Department of Veteran Affairs.
"I was very impressed with RouteMatch and the User Conference,"
said Becky McDade, Executive Director, McCormick County Senior
Center. "I just poured myself into the conference. I attended the
ad hoc reporting class, and a one-on-one consulting for a large
part of one day, and learned how to make the software work for us,
as opposed to us working for the software. RouteMatch sat down and
explained the BlackBerry and Samsung Galaxy Tablet applications and
really listened to what our needs are in terms of our budget and
what works best for us. It was tremendously helpful."
"Our Annual User Conference focus this year is to Meet. Learn.
Advance," said Joe Hewes, Vice President of Client Services,
RouteMatch Software, Inc. "We've always considered our customers
part of the RouteMatch family, and sustaining our leadership in
public transit technology directly results from listening very
closely to what our customers have to say about how they use the
technology, and addressing their needs. Given the challenging
funding climate for travel, we're thrilled that more than 130
transit agencies chose to put ITS technology high on their priority
list and join the conference. We hope to continue strengthening our
relationships with our customers throughout the year and welcome
new ones."
