Communications Specialist
Lauren Jochum joined ITS America in July 2010 to help advance the Campaign for Intelligent Transportation Solutions and support related advocacy, communications and outreach activities. Lauren joins ITS America from AkinsCrisp Public Strategies where she served as an Account Executive for the past four years. Lauren managed accounts for the company’s Knoxville and Oak Ridge offices, handling public relations, media relations and strategic objectives for a client list that encompassed industries from tourism to technology.
Lauren was part of the AkinsCrisp team that provided media support for ITS America’s 2009 and 2010 Annual Meetings and our Smart Solution Spotlight, and is well versed in ITS initiatives.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a concentration in public relations and minors in marketing and Spanish from Middle Tennessee State University.
