As Controller, Ahmed Rustom brings to ITS America more than 24 years of accounting and financial management experience. He is responsible for executing all of the ITS America’s internal and external reporting as well as ensuring that these documents comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Additionally, Ahmed assumes responsibility for maximizing the return on ITS America’s financial assets and for establishing financial policies, procedures, and reporting systems.

 

Prior to joining the association in 2009, Ahmed was the financial manager for the Association of Corporate Counsel in Washington, DC. His previous experience also includes serving as the deputy comptroller for the National Gallery of Art and the financial manager at Community Family Life Services.

 

Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and a Microsoft certification in Small Business Accounting Systems.
