Patty Fusaro serves as the ITS Program Specialist for the International Business Development Program. In this capacity, she manages international outreach activities including association matchmaking services, business development, trade missions, reverse trade missions, technical symposia and ITS alliances worldwide.
Patty also provides membership management, outreach and coordination to the International Benefits Evaluation & Costs Working Group, a cooperative group set up to exchange information and techniques used to evaluate the costs and benefits of ITS throughout the world. As part of the World Congress team, Patty manages and supports the planning, operations and execution of ITS World Congress Technology Demonstrations in the Americas.
Patty disseminates program information, is responsible of foreign delegations, develops the preparation of country and market analyses, and identifies sources of funding for international programs. She previously worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C., at George Mason University in Virginia, and in various non-governmental organizations and companies in Ecuador.
Patty specialized in trade and investment promotion, regional integration, and the Free Trade Area of the Americas. She has a Master’s Degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, studied at Oxford University in England, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from San Francisco University in Quito. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
