ITS America launched the Leadership Circle on January 1, 2013 to bring together innovation leaders from the public and private sectors to advise ITS America and the broader transportation community on strategic approaches and policies to advance widespread ITS deployment through smart technology solutions.
The Leadership Circle was created to:
- Advise the ITS America Board on how to further widespread ITS deployment;
- Promote and champion ITS solutions; and
- Assist in providing thought leadership and advocating on behalf of ITS America.
The Leadership Circle will work alongside the ITS America Board and with ITS America staff on cutting-edge projects that define and expand the ITS marketplace, forge new public-private partnerships, educate policy and decision makers, and encourage investment in transportation technology.
The Founding Members of the Leadership Circle represent an important group of public and private sector executives who will advise ITS America and the broader transportation community in their thinking on significant issues such as MAP-21 implementation and reauthorization, alternative transportation financing mechanisms, and evolving business models.
