Policy and Business Council

The Policy and Business Council is the principal source of public policy development within ITS America in support of ITS America’s strategic role as a thought leader in transportation policy. The Council accomplishes its mission in a unified way with the ITS America Coordinating and State Chapters Councils, working closely with ITS America'sleadership in the areas of transportation policy, business leadership, and government and international affairs.  Download the Policy and Business Council Charter.

ITS America Policy and Position Statements

ITS America's diverse membership includes hundreds of private and public sector entities invested in the advancement of surface transportation technology from across the United States and around the world.  Member organizations are encouraged to participate in one or more of ITS America's councils, committees, or working groups. These groups, in cooperation with ITS America's Board of Directors and senior staff, help guide the Society's position on critical transportation issues. The following are official Policy and Position statements produced by ITS America's membership:
